Lake Balaton is the largest lake in Central Europe. This vast body of water changes color in a magical way — sometimes blue, sometimes green, sometimes a stormy grey. The more than 200 km-long bike path that circles the lake winds through a wide variety of landscapes. Along with healthy exercise, your journey will take you through charming towns, rare historical landmarks, and stunning natural wonders. Near Balatonakali, you’ll find the Káli Basin, Hegyestű hill, and the Sea of Stones — just to name a few. From the saddle of your bike, you’ll uncover countless beauties: sometimes enjoying the lake up close, other times admiring it from above on a rocky ledge. It’s a truly magical and unforgettable experience.

The idea for creating this cyclist rest stop came from our own experiences: year after year, my partner and I explored the beauty of Balaton by bike, and we always felt something was missing — the kind of services that would have made our journey even more comfortable.

Our goal is to provide everything an enthusiastic cyclist might need in one place: helpful support, a comfortable place to rest, a terrace where you can enjoy the ever-changing mood of the Hungarian Sea — all with friendly and attentive service.
